A third Panamax vessel has already arrived this week in the Deep Port of Kokkola: Nordic Olympic (in the background). Kumpula, in front of it, is almost the size of a Panamax.
NORDIC OLYMPIC: Nordic Olympic was built in 2015 and it sails under Panama flag. The deadweight of the vessel is 76,180 ton, its length is 225 meters and its width 32.33 meters.
KUMPULA: Kumpula, registered in Finland, is a Supramax-size vessel. Kumpula’s deadweight is 56 348 ton. It is 197 meters long and 32.6 meters wide. The vessel was built in 2012.
ADMIRAL SCHMIDT: This robust vessel is actually of Babycape-size, bigger than a Panamax. It was built in 2019, an it is registered in the Bahamas. The deadweight of Admiral Schmidt is 107,000 ton, and its length is 249.97 meters and width 43.08 meters.
